Woman Filming a Turtle Gets Charged by a Huge Alligator in Viral Florida Video

A Florida woman crouched down on a sidewalk to film a small turtle when a much bigger animal suddenly rushed into frame — a full-grown alligator charging straight toward her.

TikTok user Cristina, who posts as @crisbonitac, had her camera trained on the turtle when the alligator burst into view and closed the distance fast. "Oh my God," she can be heard saying as she scrambles backward. Instead of continuing toward her, the alligator veers off at the last moment and disappears into a nearby pond.

Both Cristina and the turtle walked away unharmed, and the clip has since racked up attention for just how close the alligator gets before changing direction. One commenter summed up the reaction under the video: "Why is there a whole zoo on your daily walk?" The video was featured as TAG24's Viral Video of the Day for September 14.
