A viral video circulating on Threads shows a teenage girl riding her bicycle in a residential area when a teenage boy appears to attempt to take the bike.
The girl resists and screams, which appears to alert nearby neighbors. The alleged attacker then flees the scene.
IF DAILY has not independently verified the location, date, or whether a police report was filed. The original Threads post states neighbors stepped in after hearing screams.
The clip has drawn attention to how quickly community awareness can stop a crime.
