Martha Stewart is expanding her presence on Netflix today, with her cooking series "Martha Cooks" premiering on the streamer, followed tomorrow by the video version of "The Martha Stewart Podcast."
What's launching
"Martha Cooks," which originally debuted on the Roku Channel in 2022, follows Stewart in her farm kitchen sharing recipes, techniques and how-to instructions. "The Martha Stewart Podcast," which has run on iHeartRadio since June 2022, is getting a video version for the first time, with its Netflix debut episode featuring Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and upcoming guests including Benny Blanco and author Harlan Coben.
I'm delighted to bring my podcast to Netflix, and with that, introduce the medium of video to the series. Netflix is the perfect partner to share and amplify the thoughtful and informative conversations the show is known for with an even greater audience.

Part of a bigger podcast push
The deal is part of an expanded exclusive video-podcast partnership between Netflix and iHeartMedia, which also includes new video content from creators including Lele Pons and Kate and Oliver Hudson. Under the arrangement, full video episodes of the Martha Stewart shows will move exclusively to Netflix and no longer post to YouTube, while iHeartMedia keeps all audio-only rights and distribution, meaning the podcast will remain available on iHeartRadio and other audio platforms. The push follows the success of the Emmy-nominated 2024 Netflix documentary "Martha," directed by R.J. Cutler.
