For 30 Years, They Lit Candles for Tiananmen. A Hong Kong Court Just Sent Them to Prison for It.

Three organizers of Hong Kong's annual Tiananmen Square vigils were sentenced Friday to 5 to 7 years in prison for "inciting subversion." The court agreed they used no violence and proposed no specific plan for change — and sentenced them anyway.
